I remember being a hardcore gamer in my youth, gaming from dusk till dawn. Just a few years ago, I could sit for hours in the toilet with swollen legs scrolling through Instagram feed. I could argue for hours with a stranger on the net and absorbed gigabytes of news that were rarely good. I didn’t play sports, my sleep cycle was a mess, and I didn’t have time for actually doing things.
At some point, I decided to change my life. I have set rules for myself on working and playing on the Internet. Now I get things done and have decreased the anxiety about the information I find on the Internet. It turned out to be much easier than I thought in the beginning!

I have deleted social media apps several times, done a digital detox, but every time relapsed. I was angry and upset by what I saw in the feed, I was jealous of all the success and happiness presented there. I kept scrolling and blaming myself for being weak. I felt that something was wrong, but I simply could not fight a bad habit. It took a couple of years, and books, and trainings to start a different life.
Working with my clients requests, I realised that not everyone has to reject social networks completely. But everyone can formulate healthy habits for themselves and, most amazingly, stick to them!

Practical advices and phone settings instruction were really useful! I was surprised how these small steps would change my screen time, it has decreased two times.

Q&A sessions and group discussions for me were the most motivating. People shared such different stories and I realised I am not the only one struggling.
